Mongolia

Where to begin? Mongolia is a beautiful country with beautiful culture. It’s one “big” city, it is Ulan Baatar. With a million people this city is developing fast and it is a huge number business opportunities. The average age is somewhere around 26, so it’s a lot of bars, schools and clothing stores. The city it self isn’t really a beautiful city although it got this…

Mongolia is however more than just hills covered in grass, it houses a big part of the second largest desert in the world.

So in other words, this country is beautiful!

However, you don’t travel to Mongolia to experience great tasteful food. In Mongolia they eat what they got. If your lucky you get salt and pepper. A huge difference to China where you can find spices from all over the world. If you go to a restaurant in the cities you won’t have a problem finding different kinds of food, but on the outbacks they live the same life as they lived one thousand years ago. Same traditions and the same food. They keep their traditions alive by doing them every day. No development what so ever.

They their own way of life and it is incredible to experience. I would recommend Mongolia to everyone. History, culture and nature in this country is uniq and is a must for every backpacker to experience at least once on their journey.
