Batu Cave

Its a religious temple, kind of. This temple is build in a cave. To get to the cave you need to walk of a couple of stairs, look at the picture below.

The cave is very touristy, and made into a tourist attraction, so don’t expect to walk on slippery grounds or getting muddy. Its sement floor, and stairs inside. Although, this doesn’t really matter, because you’ll walk around looking up at the cave walls all the time. Its pretty big and impressive.

Look out for the monkeys while your there. They do have a reputasion of stealing, so tuck things well down your bags and pockets. I am not kidding.

Directions:

From KL Sentral

Take the KTM Komuter, line A to Batu Cave. It takes at most 15 minutes. The price for the train is 1RM.

This is the best way to get there. If you want to grab a taxi I recommend using the BLUE taxis, they are metered, and the price is not negotiable. Price for a taxi should not exceed more than 40RM.

Price: FREE
